Great for the little ones not to rough and at low tide this little one 18 months could walk out about 20-50 meters before his chin touched the waves.
We have just come back from spending our annual family pre Christmas catch up at Tuross Heads. We were amazed at this little hidden gem on the South Coast. Some of us had cabins and some camped but everyone had a front row seat to the ocean. When the tide goes out there is a natural little lake out front where the little ones can splash about. The only downside is that when a southerly blows you get the full force of it but if you love nature and the natural elements........There is lots of opportunities to catch a fish, either from the beach or the many other waterways that surround this fishing hamlet.
Not a safe place to swim. The high and low tidal flow is fast. The view is outstanding. A walk around the rocks or beach plus lake or beach fishing may keep you entertained
Stunning location. Beautiful scenery. Emerald water. Lots of gorgeous beaches. Very quiet, peaceful place. Great for children. Very cold and windy when we were there, 1 degree, but would be fabulous in summer.
Great park with postcard views in good location with very friendly managers. Currently doing lots of upgrades too which will increase it's ratings. Had the best time & was great to be able to take our puppy on our van site when we camped.
